Reflection :
Adrian mole has a lot of troubles. All problems make him exhausted while he is living.
A pimple, various things, troubles between his parents, it makes him exhausted.
But there are some consolations like 14 years old girl who insist the equality of the both sexes, 89 years old person who is chain smoker and best friend who is ill-mannered.
All they help mole with remove his shy personality. he believe he is an intellectual.
of course, he is poet. he bought letter paper which is colorful , wrote poet and sent it to BBC broadcast station.
A dog , unlucky thing, bad health follow him.
I think that the topic in this book is included in the word " the adolescent boy's diary " The name of this book is secret diary, but it is list of trivial boy's day. it is just episode of life. There are no heaviness of life. just smiling and sympathizing, it is full of such lightness. and also it includes main character experience strange change and psychological feeling of uneasiness. but, he is maturing through other people. Also I am in adolescent. while I was reading this book. I thought it was little boring but this book express our life well. When we become an adult, if we think about adolescent, we will smile because that was pure day. A diary means private and individual record as reading these book.
we can sympathize with main character and also these book remind us of our memories. I realized the only thing that is important to us is to remove pimple, how we would spend tough test times, the imagination of who I would married in the future; these thoughts will support my adolescent. I think it is the topic and merit of this book.
